Tracy Blackstock, PT
Tracy Blackstock has been a physical therapist for over 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. She received a Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University. She has worked in many different settings including hospitals, outpatient therapy clinics, school systems, Early Intervention, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.
While treating in a vast array of settings, Tracy recognized that patients experienced limited improvement with conventional therapy. After a back and hip injury of her own, she discovered John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release (MFR) approach and experienced first-hand the profound and lasting effect this approach had in limiting pain and maximizing physical function. Tracy has trained extensively in MFR techniques taught by John F. Barnes, the internationally recognized author and authority in myofascial release. She has dedicated herself to providing her patients with the high quality, individualized MFR treatments that they deserve.
Outside of work, Tracy is grateful for family time with her husband, two children, and her three pets. She enjoys spending time outdoors through various activities including hiking, biking, and gardening. She practices yoga and believes staying active is paramount to living a long and healthy life.
